lost and found

been so long since i saw a rainbow
a promise never to be broken
only forgotten for the time being
wait until we release the crow

like a footprint in the sand
everyday goes by without anyhow
im trying to find my lost soul
still here in the promise land

picturing myself with wings and a halo
fly away ... far away ...
in the golden city where we would walk
together in harmony
singing the joyous song

should i wake up or continue
daydreaming in between the nightmares
forever shall i be chosen
its not easy and its only for the few

looking up and im looking down
wondering where should i be ?
all these years ive been slaving
