the croc has left the swamp

a very sad day to me. steve 'the crocodile hunter' irwin died. he got sting by a stinking stingray in the heart. if it would have been anywhere but the heart, were not gonna talk about fatality here. it wasnt the deep ocean or the giant croc or the black mamba. a day to mourn.

i really like his hyper, exuberant, and energetic character. but, what really capture the essence of steve was his passion for wildlife in general. he became the unoffical spokesman for the conservation of wildlife habitat and an icon and hero for many kids (and me) around the world.

his legacy will live on through his hardwork and open many eyes about the important of conserving wildlife as a part of our ecosystem.
